Median Line: In zoology, a line bisecting the middle of an object, such as a body part or wing.

Mesic soil: Moderately moist soil that is neither wet nor dry.

Monoecious: A plant that contains both male (staminate) and female (pistillate) or perfect flowers on the same individual.
