Endemic: In biology, an adjective indicating that an organism’s native range is limited to a specific area.

Eyespot: In zoology, eye-like markings found on a variety of animals. Although they are not fully understood, scientists believe that they may serve multiple purposes, including Batesian mimicry, automimicry, and may even play a role in reproduction.
