Untomia: Combines the Greek un meaning to “not” with tomia, for “to cut.”

Untomia is a small genus of moths within the subfamily Anacampsinae. Untomia is sometimes sorted into the tribe Anacampsini, but due to the complexity and recent rearrangements within the Gelechiidae family, the authors have not included the tribe.
