Etymology

Eudeilinia: Specifics on the name are undocumented, however the combination of the Latin words found in the word provide some clues. The combination of eu meaning “true or good,” and linia meaning “line or thread” translates to “good line” which, is likely in reference to the thread-like pattern on the wings.

Pronunciation

yoo-day-lie-nye-uh
