Overview

Elachista is a large and complex genus of moths that are currently included within the subfamily Elachistidae. Elachista contains sevearl subgenera, taxonomically unassigned groups, and incertae sedis (or undetermined) species. Due to the taxonomic ambiguity, the authors have chosen to group all species strictly to the genus level.
