Etymology

Coleophora: Combines the Greek words koleós, meaning “sheath” and phora meaning “bearer or carrier.”

limosipennella: Combines the Latin words limos meaning “muddy” and penn, meaning “feather or plume,” with the suffix ella for “small.”
