Etymology

Chrysopeleiinae: The Greek chryso means “gold,” and in Greek mythology, Chrysopeleia was a woodland spirit called a Hamadryad nymph.

The suffix inae is standard taxonomic nomenclature to indicate that word pertains to a zoological subfamily.
