Overview

Autosticha is an Old World genus of moths that is usually included in the Autostichidae family, but some taxonomists consider it part of the Oecophoridae family.

Members of genus Autosticha are primarily found in eastern Asia, but also occur in Africa, the South Pacific, and one species in Australia.
The only North American member of the genus is exotic and was presumably introduced through the nursery trade.
